I grew up in a family that dedicates their lives to giving people a chance to become all they were created to be. My grandfather established the first private tertiary institution in the Caribbean to ensure that students, regardless of circumstance, could transform their generation through affordable, accessible education. My aunt, a lawyer, used her own income to provide a home and safety for street children who had nowhere else to turn.

Witnessing the faces of those whose lives were changed by their work shaped my earliest understanding of purpose. It taught me that no matter which path I choose, I must walk it with kindness, clarity, and a commitment to uplifting others, becoming a source of strength in the moments people need it most.

In 2016, I founded bellaFoundation with this legacy in mind. What began as simple acts of service evolved into scholarships, mentorship programs, empowerment workshops, and youth-led initiatives that have touched multiple communities across Trinidad and Tobago.

This foundation is not only a reflection of where I come from — it is a blueprint for the future I am building.
